Description. The uniq command works as a filter on the search results that you pass into it. This command removes any search result if that result is an exact duplicate of the previous result. This command does not take any arguments. We do not recommend running this command against a large dataset.You can use the makemv command to separate multivalue fields into multiple single value fields. In this example for sendmail search results, you want to separate the values of the senders field into multiple field values. eventtype="sendmail" | makemv delim="," senders. My workaround for that is that I am using mvcombine over the LINE column, which assembles all rows together into one, works fine. The only problem I have is, that the emtpty rows (well, they consist of many space characters) get chopped off by the mvcombine.
